A Bais Din signed a proclamation against those antagonizing Rav Eliezer Berland and his followers, who go by the name Shuvu Bonim, saying that all the provocations should stop.
The declaration was signed by several Gedolim, among them Rav Moshe Shternbuch and Rav Yitchok Tuvia Weiss, and says that all tactics against Shuvu Bonim, including smear campaigns and name calling should be put to an end at once.
The letter says that anyone with complaints against Rav Berland or his group of followers should bring their grievances to Bais Din instead.

Recently, the Torah world was electrified by the news and video of the Shas Yiden public farher on the entire shas by Harav Nissan Kaplan and Harav Rephael Shmuelewitz at Yeshivas Daas Aharon. Maran Harav David Cohen, Rosh Yeshivas Chevron, suggested that yeshivos should invite the Shas Yiden avreichim geonim so that yeshiva bochrim could see true Shas Yiden and be inspired.
Let the Geonim Test Them!

Thousands participated Wednesday evening in the emotional procession marking the return of the four sifrei Torah that were stolen last week from the Tiferes Shimon shul (Orchos Torah alumni) on Rechov Rabi Akiva in Bnei Brak.
The procession left from the house of the late Rosh Yeshivah, Hagaon Harav Aharon Leib Shteinman, zt”l, who was the Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Orchos Torah.
Many Rabbanim and Roshei Yeshivah also participated in the hachnasas sifrei Torah.
Border Police located the four sifrei Torah in a PA town in the Shomron Sunday, and they were later identified as the ones stolen from the shul on Bnei Brak’s Rabi Akiva Street last Monday night. The sifrei Torah were in good condition and showed no signs of desecration.

A 41-year-old Pennsylvania Jewish native who later converted to Christianity has been arrested by authorities in connection to the fire that destroyed three homes in Flatbush, Brooklyn, last week.
No less than a dozen people – including a 6-week-old baby – as well as several firefighters were injured in the fire, though not seriously.
The suspect is Matthew (Menachem) Karelefsky, who for years has been threatening to kill or injure one of the occupants of the homes.
Karelefsky, who lived in foster care and an Ohel home, has broken the law many times in the past and, sources told Matzav.com, was arrested a year ago for an email threat against the person whose house he eventually burned down in an act of arson this past week.
