Belz is celebrating the engagement of the sixth grandson of the Belzer Rebbe.
This is the fourth son of Rav Aharon Mordechai Rokach, son of the current Belzer Rebbe and the son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Meir R”M of Belz Yeshiva in Haifa.
The kallah is the granddaughter of the Admor of Melitz in Ashdod, a prestigious Rav in the Ashdod community.
The vort will take place tonight at the residence of the Rebbe in Yerushalayim.

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Aharon Chaim (Ronnie) Harari-Raful z”l. He was 55 years old.
Reb Aharon Chaim was a son of Chacham Yosef and Rabbanit Carol Ruchama Harari-Raful. Chacham Yosef is rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ateret Torah in Brooklyn and member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisroel of America.

Rav Gershon Edelstein, rosh yeshiva of Ponovezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, is recovering after being hospitalized at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak.
Doctors said that the rosh yeshiva felt weak after fasting on the fast of Tisha B’Av, though it was a nidcheh this year.
At Mayanei Hayeshua, Rav Gershon underwent a battery of tests, including blood tests.
The rosh yeshiva is now is stable condition in the intensive care unit.
All are asked to daven for Rav Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam.

A toddler about a year old was rescued from a vehicle shortly after being spotted by passersby. The case ended without injury, boruch Hashem.
This afternoon, the baby was spotted in a locked vehicle on Rechov HaGra in Bnei Brak. After the car window was shattered, the toddler was rescued, examined by medical officials, and evacuated to Tel Hashomer Hospital.
“A passerby broke the car window and removed the toddler,” said Arele Klein and Yechiel Vaknin, paramedics with Ichud Hatzolah. “We gave her first aid and then she continued receiving medical treatment at the hospital, having suffered from fluid loss and suspected heat stroke.”

The Nazareth District Court ruled today, on the fast of Tisha B’Av, that the Municipality of Afula may not allow gender segregation at a concert slated to feature singer Moti Steinmetz later this week.
The ruling followed intensive lobbying by the left-wing, liberal, anti-chareidi Women’s Lobby.
In his ruling, Judge Jonathan Abraham wrote, “I prohibit gender segregation during the event. Each member of the event may at his or her discretion stay anywhere at the venue, and is hereby prohibited by any of the ushers or security guards, or any other organizing party in the event, from taking any action on segregation by gender.

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Reb Ezriel Salomon z”l of Gatehead. He was 77 years old.
Reb Ezriel was the former head of Gateshead Jewish Primary School for 35 years, devoting himself to the chinuch and wellbeing of tinokos shel bais rabbonim for many years. He helped organize educational support and extra-curricular activities for disabled children, developed and obtained funding for a healthy-living center, and established a community economic development center in Bensham.
The Gateshead Jewish Primary School, where Reb Ezriel served as headmaster, was founded by Rav Shaul Wagschal.
