Some of the Hezbollah terrorists who were injured in Lebanon in the “exploding beepers operation” were flown to Iran for surgery and treatment. This week, they went on a “field trip” to visit and pray at a shrine in Mashhad, a city in northeast Iran. Hashem’s justice is seen in the maiming of terrorists who repeatedly fired missiles at Israel, killing and wounding numerous Israeli soldiers and civilians, including the murder of 12 innocent children in Majdal Shams. It should also be noted that many Iranians saw vindication in the attack on Hezbollah, which blinded many terrorists.

Vice President Kamala Harris faced tough questions from CBS News’ Bill Whitaker during a special election episode of “60 Minutes” on Monday, to which she seemed unable to reasonably respond to. When pressed about whether it was a “mistake” for the Biden administration to soften its border policies, Harris struggled to provide a coherent answer, leaving viewers and political observers alike questioning her grasp of the issue. Whitaker challenged Harris directly, pointing out the significant decrease in border crossings following President Biden’s recent crackdown on asylum seekers. “If that’s the right answer now, why didn’t your administration take those steps in 2021?” he asked.

The IDF says that at least 50 Hezbollah terrorists including six senior commanders were eliminated in airstrikes on Monday. The IAF launched the series of highly successful airstrikes on underground Hezbollah command centers in southern Lebanon. These strikes targeted key Hezbollah units, including the Nasser, Bader, Aziz, and Radwan forces, which have long used underground infrastructure to plan and execute attacks against IDF soldiers and northern Israeli communities. The airstrikes, conducted with precise intelligence from the IDF’s Intelligence Directorate and in coordination with the Northern Command, resulted in the elimination of at least 50 Hezbollah operatives, including six senior commanders.

The IDF have made significant strides in neutralizing Hezbollah’s infrastructure and operatives in southern Lebanon. As part of their ongoing operations, the IDF recently located and dismantled a Hezbollah tunnel that crossed from the Marwahin area of Lebanon into Israeli territory, near the Zar’it community. The tunnel, which extended approximately 10 meters into Israel, had no exit point in Israeli territory and had been under operational control until IDF troops arrived at the scene. Upon investigating the tunnel, IDF soldiers found a cache of weapons, explosive devices, and anti-tank missiles, intended for future use in terrorist attacks. This discovery was a critical part of the IDF’s mission to dismantle Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

In a direct message to the Lebanese people, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the current state of Lebanon and urged its citizens to reclaim their country from Hezbollah, which has turned Lebanon into an Iranian military base. Netanyahu emphasized that Israel’s ongoing military efforts against Hezbollah are aimed at restoring safety for its citizens and urged the people of Lebanon to take advantage of the current situation to rebuild their country and bring back peace and prosperity. He highlighted the long-standing effects of Hezbollah’s control and appealed to the Lebanese to rise up and liberate their nation before it is dragged further into conflict.

The IDF announced the deployment of its 146th Reserve Division to southern Lebanon last night, intensifying ground operations against the Hezbollah terror group. This new deployment follows the ongoing military operations against Hezbollah, with the 146th Reserve Division joining three active army divisions—the 98th, 36th, and 91st—that are currently operating in the central and eastern sectors of southern Lebanon. The addition of the reserve division significantly bolsters Israel’s ground offensive, bringing the total number of troops deployed inside Lebanon to over 15,000. The IDF confirmed that operations are being conducted by the division’s Carmeli Reserve Infantry Brigade and Iron Fist Reserve Armored Brigade, supported by the 213th Artillery Regiment.

The soldiers of the Golani Brigade recently captured a Hezbollah combat compound located in a house and adjacent olive grove in Maround El Ras, a village in southern Lebanon, the IDF spokesperson stated on Tuesday. The compound, which posed a direct threat to yishuvim in northern Israel it overlooked, was discovered during the Brigade’s targeted operations in the Maround El Ras Area. Soldiers found a fully loaded rocket launcher ready to fire at northern Israel in the olive grove, along with underground infrastructure, including hideouts and living areas. Additional rocket launchers were found inside the kitchen of the home. Other parts of the home housed anti-tank missiles and a large cache of weapons prepared for planned ambushes against IDF forces and residents of northern Israel.

In a Rosh Hashanah neis, a sniper from Hamas in Beit Hanoun, Gaza, attempted to kill a soldier from the IDF’s Netzach Yehuda battalion, but miraculously failed. The bullet missed the soldier by a hair. Upon hearing the sound of the sniper’s shot and the bullet whizzing by him, the soldier and his comrades took cover, avoiding injury. Hamas released a falsified video, claiming that the IDF soldier was killed in the attack. However, the soldier was unharmed, and the IDF has debunked the terrorist propaganda. The Netzah Yehuda battalion, a unit consisting of chareidi soldiers, has been operating in the northern Gaza Strip for nearly a year, achieving major successes.

In his first one-on-one interview since the Democratic National Convention, Minnesota Governor and vice-presidential hopeful Tim Walz faced tough questions from Fox News anchor Shannon Bream regarding several past lies. During a segment on Fox News Sunday, Bream pressed Walz on a number of inconsistencies, including what many considered his most awkward moment during last Tuesday’s vice-presidential debate — his inaccurate claim about being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. During the debate, Walz referred to himself as “a knucklehead” after being asked if he was present in Hong Kong during the protests, an admission he later walked back after CNN reported that his travels to Asia did not occur until later that year.

Following Tuesday night’s missile barrage from Iran, Israeli officials initially downplayed the effectiveness of the attack, with the IDF claiming that their defenses had largely held. The IDF confirmed that over 180 missiles were launched, and U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan echoed these reports, calling the attack “ineffective.” However, new satellite imagery and social media footage suggest that the strikes may have been more successful than initially admitted. The footage, analyzed by experts, reveals that several missiles hit the Nevatim airbase in the Negev desert, causing secondary explosions. While Israel’s advanced Iron Dome and Arrow defense systems intercepted many of the missiles, at least 32 direct hits were identified at the airbase.
