Kendel Felix, the man charged in the murder five years ago of Williamsburg businessman Reb Menachem Stark z”l, appeared this afternoon before Judge Danny Chun, acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, and was sentenced to 15 years to life behind bars.
Kendel’s shortened sentence was attributed to his having cooperated with prosecutor Howard Jackson in the trial of his co-defendant, his cousin, Erskin Felix, who won’t be sentenced until June and could face up to 25 years in prison.
Kendel, who has already been in jail for five years and will thus be released in ten years, could have received a max of 25 years to life, but got the reduced number because of what Jackson called “oustanding” cooperation. Kendel was 26 years old at the time of the murder.

The Sadigura Rebbe, Rav Yisroel Moshe Friedman of Yerushalayim, was physically attacked in Lakewood, NJ, last night, Matzav.com has learned.
The attack was not hate-driven, according to sources, but was carried out by a mentally unhinged individual, who jumped at the rebbe at the home of the rebbe’s daughter and son-in-law.
Boruch Hashem, the rebbe emerged unharmed.
While the rebbe resides in Yerushalayim, he has been staying for the last while in Lakewood, as he has been battling serious illness.

Families battling illness must juggle so much more than the average family, and for them, the challenging Pesach preparations are especially difficult. Misameach strives to do whatever it can to ease the burden on these families and inject an extra burst of simcha into the Yom Tov season.
Misameach held a pre-Pesach event for children the day of bedikas chometz at Pump It Up of Lakewood. As the hectic race to Yom Tov reached its crescendo, parents desperately needing a reprieve were able to drop off their children for an afternoon of fun and take advantage of those precious few hours to continue their Pesach preparations.

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Mordechai Neustadt zt”l.
Rabbi Neustadt was most well known for his efforts to save Russian Jewry from spiritual annihilation.

The View’s co-hosts reacted to the tragic San Diego shooting on pesach that killed one person and wounded three others. Six minutes into the clip below, co-host Joy Behar says that President Donald Trump is “the culprit” and is now facing calls from the public to be fired.
