Two people were killed when a neo-nazi and anti-semitic activist opened fire outside of a shul in the city of Halle in Germany on Yom Kippur.
Police told reporters that at least two people had been killed after the shooter, who has been identified as Stephan Balliet, a neo-nazi and self-proclaimed anti-semite.

A Magen David Adom Spokesperson stated that the organization responded to 2,491 emergency calls over Yom Kippur in Israel. A United Hatzalah Spokesperson stated that they responded to more than 3,000 emergency calls in Israel and Ukraine over the holiday.

Dear neighbors,
The Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur begins tonight at sunset, and I am writing to wish all those who observe an uplifting and meaningful holiday and an easy fast.

A female animal rights activist was captured on video weeping and crying as she held a chicken by a Kaparos Center in Brooklyn.
