Officials have announced an end to the measles outbreak that infected 312 people since last October in Rockland County in New York City’s northern suburbs.
The state Health Department says Tuesday that 42 days have passed with no new cases in Rockland.

In line with the bi-annual custom, the kvitlach at the Kosel are being removed from between the stones ahead of Rosh Hashanah. They are also removed annually ahead of Pesach.

Similar to previous years, the Israeli Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning against Israelis and Jews traveling to more than 40 countries during the coming holiday season.

A 20 year old woman was stabbed by a terrorist near Modiin on Wednesday afternoon

A report in Israel’s daily Yisrael Hayom this week addressed a report that’s been spread recently on Whatsapp groups and social media that Rav Yitzchak Kaduri, z’tl, predicted the current situation of the deadlock between Likud and Blue and White and the fights between the right and left.

Once again there is drama in the Yahadut Hatorah party, as was the case in the Knesset election in April 2019 for the 21st Knesset. The Central Election Committee (CEC) during the night announced with the final results have been tabulated and Likud has earned an additional seat, now holding at 32, one less than the Blue & White party.
