In a discussion with Arutz Sheva, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee addressed mounting concerns surrounding the American approach to ongoing nuclear talks with Iran.
The full conversation with Huckabee is scheduled to air on Thursday.
“They’re not going to have a nuclear weapon. They’ve got to agree to total dismantlement and complete loss of capability. They’re not going to have enriched uranium, centrifuges, and reactors. You don’t get any clearer than that. If the Iranians think they can gain Donald Trump, they’ve never dealt with him,” Huckabee stated, emphasizing the non-negotiable stance of the Trump administration regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Defense Minister Yisrael Katz made a surprise visit to the Ashdod Naval Base in southern Israel on Wednesday. “I came here from a visit to the Shin Bet headquarters,” Katz said, “and all is Hamas is doing now is sitting and updating targets in yishuvim near the border through sources that provide it with information, like the Iranians and others. It is still busy planning how to continue.” “Therefore, we must win here. There is no entity that cannot be subdued. We must make sure Hamas will not stay here.” During the visit, Katz sailed off the coast of the Gaza Strip and received a briefing on the sailors’ activities during the war. Residents of a southern Israeli kibbutz that suffered casualties during the brutal October 7, 2023, Hamas attack expressed outrage following Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s statement in a press conference earlier today, in which he claimed that “nothing” occurred in their community on that day.
Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha, located near the Gaza border, issued a response condemning the statement: “We were surprised and shocked by the prime minister’s blatant inaccuracy as if ‘nothing happened in Ein Hashlosha.’ This is an outrageous and grave remark that harms the memory of those murdered and the entire community.”

In an interview with Israel’s N12, recently released hostage Yarden Bibas – whose wife, Shiri, and two sons, Ariel and Kfir hy”d, were murdered in captivity – opened up about the harrowing months he spent in Hamas captivity — and the unbreakable bond he shared with his best friend, David Cunio, who remains a hostage in Gaza to this day. Bibas revealed that during his time in captivity, he came face to face with Yahya Sinwar, the now-dead Hamas leader who orchestrated the October 7 massacre. “Sinwar asked me what he could do for me,” Bibas recounted. “I told him I wanted to stay with David, my best friend. He promised it would be done.” But that promise was short-lived. Just two to three weeks later, the two were forcibly separated.

Ten men who broke out of a New Orleans jail last week clogged a toilet to get the water shut off so that they could escape through a hole behind it, a lawyer for a maintenance worker who is charged with helping them said Wednesday. The worker, Sterling Williams, did not know about the men’s plan and did not allow the inmates to cut a pipe behind the toilet to create an opening for their escape, attorney Michael Kennedy told The Associated Press. Williams, 33, was arrested Tuesday. Authorities have said an inmate instructed Williams to turn off the water to a toilet, leading to one of the largest jailbreaks in recent U.S. history. Five of the men remained at large Wednesday. Williams just a ‘tool,’ lawyer says “This was clearly all part of an orchestrated plan,” Kennedy said.

An inspiring Lag BaOmer parade took place on the grounds of the Jewish Museum in Moscow and in neighboring educational institutions, with hundreds of children participating under the leadership of Rabbi Berel Lazar, Head Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Russia. Despite Lag BaOmer falling on a Friday this year, a dedicated group of Shluchim, led by Rabbi Eliyahu Dikshtein, initiated a special campaign to organize a large parade—an event typically held on Sunday. Their efforts paid off, drawing an overwhelming number of participants, so much so that organizers had to bring in extra chairs to accommodate everyone.

The 8th grade boys of Torah Academy of Minneapolis recently visited Lakewood as part of an East Coast trip designed to give them a glimpse into the broader Torah world they are part of — and their first stop left a powerful impression. The students, hailing from a city without a local Hatzolah organization, were brought to Hatzolah of Central Jersey to experience firsthand how a major volunteer emergency medical service operates. From the moment they entered the dispatch center — where calls are answered in seconds and responders are tracked in real time — the boys were visibly inspired.

Andrew Cuomo, who has entered the race for New York City mayor, launched a campaign ad on Wednesday that paints him as a direct counterforce to President Trump—just hours after reports surfaced of a Justice Department investigation into his conduct.
The ad showcases a sequence of well-known political figures who have clashed with Trump and are now under federal scrutiny, concluding with Cuomo himself, who is reportedly being investigated over testimony he gave to Congress regarding his handling of the COVID-19 crisis.
“If Donald Trump doesn’t want Andrew Cuomo as mayor, you do,” the ad boldly proclaims.
