A cluster of balloons attached to an explosive device landed in an IDF base in southern Israel this morning
Israel Police sappers, who were called in to neutralize the Gazan explosive device, said that no one was injured and no damage was caused.
“If you see a suspicious object, report it immediately to the police,” a police statement warned.

A video posted on Twitter showed a man in South Africa assaulting former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger by rush past the 71-year-old’s security and landing a jumping kick on Schwarzenegger’s back before guards swarmed the man, detaining him and carrying him away.
Despite the man’s running start, the former governor appeared uninjured by the attack and later posted a video of himself greeting fans on Twitter while adding in a subsequent message that he thought he had been “jostled by the crowd.”

Over 2000 people showed up to demonstrate against the chillul Shabbos taking place at the rehearsals and preparations for the international singing competition, the Eurovision, held this year in Tel Aviv in one of the largest hafganos Yerushalayim has seen in a few years.
The protest, which began on Kikar Shabbos and marched toward the city center, was led by the Toldos Ahron Rebbe, who joined the protest to deliver a fiery schmooze against chillul Shabbos. 
Riots broke out with the police, who arrested several demonstrators for disturbing the peace and attacking police. Damage was also caused to one of the storefronts that was found to be open and operating while the protesters were marching.

Loud blasts echoed across Damascus late on Friday, residents said, as Syrian state media reported “enemy targets” coming from the direction of Israel, which has previously acknowledged conducting repeated strikes inside Syria.
The state television channel showed footage of the night sky with a point of light firing up into it and the sound of shooting, and reported that air defenses had brought down some objects. It did not immediately report casualties or material damage.

President Donald Trump warned Friday of the possibility of “long jail sentences” for law-enforcement and intelligence officials involved in the early stages of the investigation into possible coordination between Russia and members of his 2016 campaign.
“My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on,” Trump claimed in a morning tweet. “Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!”
His claims come as Attorney General William Barr has taken steps to review the origins of the Russia probe, including the appointment of a senior prosecutor to examine the roles of the FBI and the CIA.

Israel’s national air carrier El Al will begin offering nonstop flights between Tel Aviv and Las Vegas starting June 14.
The 14-hour direct flights will depart Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport on Friday mornings. A return flight from Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport will leave on Saturday nights.
El Al’s vice president of commercial and industry affairs, Michael Strassburger, said the route was added to meet the demand of Israeli travelers for whom Vegas has become a popular destination.

A new terminal for pets and their owners will be built at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport at a cost of 1.5 million U.S. dollars, said the Israeli company Terminal4pets on Wednesday.
The new terminal will be established by the Israeli company, which deals with international flying and transporting of pets, the Israel Airport Authority (IAA) and other aviation and logistics partners.
The new terminal will provide services to pets travelling overseas as well as guard and care services for animals that will be left until their owners return from abroad. It will include a lobby and reception area, flight assistance desk, pet shop, dog walking areas, shower services, clinic, food warehouse and private sleeping cells.

The international community and remaining signatories of Iran‘s nuclear deal should act to save the accord as “supportive statements” are not enough, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told state media during a visit to Japan and China.
Last week, Iran notified the five remaining signatories that it would scale back some commitments under its 2015 nuclear deal, a year after Washington left the pact and reimposed sanctions on Tehran. Tehran has asked the other signatories to help protect its economy from US sanctions.
“Safeguarding the (nuclear accord) is possible through practical measures, and not only through supportive statements,” Zarif was quoted as saying by the state news agency IRNA.
