In response to Chilul Shabbos and a breakdown of the religious status quo in Ramat Gan by the city’s mayor, Shama HaKohen, who plans to run public buses on Shabbos, Rishon L’Tzion Hagaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef and Sephardi Gedolei HaTorah have released a kol korei addressing the worrisome Chilul Shabbos in the city.
