The Israeli Defense Forces has announced the names of eight more soldiers who have tragically been killed in the current Gaza conflict.
They are:
– Staff sergeant David Bogdanovsky, 19, from Haifa, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Orel Bashan, 20, from Haifa, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Gal Hershko, 20, from Yiftach, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Itamar Shemen, 21, from Lapid, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

– Master Sergeant (res.) Nadav Yissachar Farchi, 30, from Herzliya, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the central Gaza Strip.

– Master Sergeant (res.) Eliyahu Meir Ochana, 28, from Haifa, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
– Sergeant first class (res.) Elyassaf Shoshan, 23, from Yerushalayim, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
– Sergeant first class (res.) Ohad Ashur, 23, from Kfar Yona, who was killed on Shabbos in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, six soldiers sustained serious injuries during the clashes in Gaza on Shabbos.
Last night, as reported here on Matzav, the IDF disclosed the names of five soldiers who lost their lives in the Gaza fighting. These included Staff Sergeant Nir Rafael Kananian, 20; Staff Sergeant Birhanu Kassie, 22; Master Sergeant (res.) Shay Termin, 26; Warrant Officer (res.) Alexander Shpitz, 41; and Captain Oshri Moshe Butzhak, 22.
