An Israeli Border Police officer was seriously injured in a stabbing attack near the Shivtei Yisrael light rail station in Jerusalem on Monday morning. The terrorist was neutralized shortly after the attack by another Border Police officer at the scene who chased after him and shot him. A large number of security forces quickly arrived at the scene. The police officer, about 25, who was stabbed in his upper body, was evacuated to Hadassah Har HaTzofim Hospital. (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)
