IDF forces on Friday carried out an airstrike on Friday and eliminated the terrorist Hakham Muhammad Issa Al-Issa in Gaza City. Issa Al-Issa was a founder of Hamas and a senior figure in the terror group’s military wing. Most recently, he served as the head of the Combat Support and Administrative Headquarters of Hamas. He played a significant role in the planning and execution of the October 7 massacre. In recent months, he advanced terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers in Gaza and was also working to rebuild Hamas’s organizational systems that were damaged during the war.
