Sec. of Defense Pete Hegseth has nominated the current Deputy Commander of CENTCOM, Vice Admiral Brad Cooper to serve as the next Head of CENTCOM, replacing General Michael Kurilla. Additionally, Lieutenant General Dagvin Anderson, the Director for Joint Force Development, will serve as the Commander of AFRICOM, replacing General Michael E. Langley.
