Two of the four victims murdered by an Iranian missile strike on an apartment building in Petach Tikvah early Monday morning have been identified as Yaakov and Dasi Belo, H’yd. Their deaths were announced by their son, Ofir Belo. “With great sorrow and complete shock, we announce the murder of our father and mother, the beloved and dear Yaakov and Dasi Belo, by a direct missile hit on their home,” he wrote. “Details on the time of the levaya will be announced later.” The couple was killed in their reinforced room (“mamad”) when a missile with a heavy warhead hit the wall between two safe rooms. Two others at the site were killed while outside protected spaces—one of them on the floor above and the second in a neighboring building—as a result of the shockwave.

The past few days in Israel have been nothing short of devastating. A barrage of hypersonic missiles, explosive-laden drones, and relentless rocket fire launched by Iran and its proxies has rained down on cities across the country, leaving destruction, trauma, and heartbreak in its wake. From the northern border to the heart of Tel Aviv, no community has been spared. In one of the most heartbreaking incidents, an entire Arab Israeli family — including young children — was killed in the north. In central Israel, direct hits on residential buildings and public spaces left over 100 injured and at least 9 civilians dead, among them three children aged just 10, 13, and 18. More than 300 homes and buildings have been reported damaged or destroyed.

US President Donald Trump said that he isn’t looking for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran but wants a “real end” to Iran’s nuclear program. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One shortly after midnight, Trump said, “I didn’t say I was looking for a ceasefire,” he said. “I want a real end—with Iran giving up entirely.” Senior White House reporter for CBS News Jennifer Jacobs wrote on X: “Iran is ‘very close’ to a nuclear weapon, Trump said. ‘I don’t care what she said I think they were very close to having them,’ Trump told us on AF1 when asked about Tulsi Gabbard testimony in March.” “I asked him about efforts to help Americans leave the region, with commercial airspace closed, and he said admin ‘working on that.

An Iranian missile struck the ALEH rehabilitation center in the Pardes Katz neighborhood of Bnei Brak for severely disabled children and teens in the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning, collapsing parts of the building and destroying therapy rooms and equipment. Tragically, Avraham Cohen, H’yd, 80, who lived in a neighboring building, was killed by the blast, and 21 people were injured. At the same time, it was an incredible neis that more people weren’t killed. Although the ALEH campus has a public bomb shelter, it was locked that night, and nearby residents turned to other bomb shelters, saving them from the building collapse. Additionally, ALEH is located between tall residential buildings with hundreds of residents.

According to initial IDF assessments, Iran launched approximately 20 ballistic missiles targeting Israel. MDA says five people are lightly injured at one of the missile impact sites. report no injuries. One missile hit a parking lot in central Israel, damaging the area and setting an empty bus ablaze.

The IDF says it has eliminated Ali Shadmani, the Iranian military’s chief of staff. His predecessor, Ali Rashid, was killed in the IDF’s initial strikes.
