Early Monday morning, ZAKA reported that two more bodies had been located and recovered from the debris left by an Iranian missile strike in Bat Yam.
With this discovery, the total number of fatalities in Bat Yam resulting from the recent missile attacks has increased to nine, according to ZAKA’s latest update.
KAN reported that one individual is still unaccounted for in the city in connection with the strikes.
Nationwide, the death toll since the start of Operation Rising Lion has climbed to 16.

A barrage of around 100 missiles launched from Iran struck Israeli territory in the early hours of Monday morning, injuring at least 25 people and causing significant damage to residential areas in the Gush Dan region. The attack, which began shortly before 4:00 a.m., left a 10-year-old boy in serious condition, two others moderately injured, and the remaining victims with light injuries, according to Magen David Adom. Israel Fire and Rescue Services reported that two high-rise residential buildings sustained direct hits in the missile barrage. Eight rescue teams were deployed to the scenes, working tirelessly to extricate individuals trapped under the rubble.
