According to Magen David Adom, there has been a sharp increase in snake bite calls in Israel over the past two months, compared to the same period last year.
Since the beginning of April, paramedics and EMTs treated 45 victims of snake bites, one of them was hospitalized, two evacuated in serious condition and five in moderate condition.

240 Israeli and Jewish academics sent a letter to the German government urging them to reject its recently passed “BDS is anti-Semitism” law.
In an open letter published in English and German on BDS Germany’s website, the academics called on the German government “not to endorse” the law “which is based on the false allegation that BDS as such equals anti-Semitism.”
