Israeli forces carried out an assault tonight that struck the Shahran oil depot located near Tehran, according to multiple reports confirming the incident.
In addition to hitting the fuel facility, the strike reportedly extended to multiple high-value locations in Tehran, including installations linked to Iran’s nuclear development efforts and key command and control infrastructures.
Iran’s Tasnim news agency stated that Israel also struck the main offices of the Iranian Defense Ministry. This claim was later corroborated by the Israel Defense Forces.
According to the IDF, the Israeli Air Force carried out a planned operation involving precision strikes based on extensive intelligence. These attacks hit a number of targets throughout Tehran.

Israeli military officials flatly rejected claims by Iranian state media alleging that two Israeli fighter jets had been shot down and one pilot captured. The IDF labeled the report a fabrication.
“This news being spread by Iranian media is completely baseless,” said Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, dismissing the narrative as “fake Iranian media.”
At a press briefing today, IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin disclosed that more than 70 Israeli aircraft conducted a sustained two-hour operation over Tehran, targeting more than 40 strategic sites. He emphasized that this mission marked the IDF’s deepest incursion into Tehran’s airspace to date.

In light of the current security crisis with the Iran war, Rav Dov Landau, rosh yeshiva of Slabodka, has issued new instructions for the chareidi education system, outlining which institutions should remain open and under what conditions.
The directives, released from Rav Landau’s home on Motzaei Shabbos, were shared with administrators of ganim, talmudei Torah, and yeshivos, and are based on the current situation as of Motzaei Shabbos.
According to the instructions:

RECHOVOT — The Weizmann Institute of Science, widely regarded as Israel’s premier center for civilian scientific research, was struck directly during Iran’s overnight missile and drone onslaught targeting central Israel.
The attack marks a significant and symbolic escalation in the conflict, as the institute is considered one of the nation’s most prestigious academic institutions.
According to sources, at least one of the research laboratory buildings on campus caught fire as a result of the impact. Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene and are currently working to locate and rescue individuals believed to be trapped inside the damaged structure.

Early Sunday morning, air raid sirens echoed across multiple locations throughout Israel as Iranian missiles and drones were detected heading toward Israeli territory. In a separate incident, Israel’s air defenses successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
Tragedy struck in Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv, where three people, including a 10-year-old child, were killed on the spot following a missile strike.

Yisrael Aloni, 73, lost his life early Shabbos morning when a missile launched from Iran struck Rishon Lezion. He was one of two civilians killed in the attack.
Although sirens were heard prior to the impact, the Home Front Command did not issue an alert in advance, leaving residents with little time to take shelter. Aloni, who was not in a fortified space, was outside a protected zone when the missile landed and was killed instantly.

On Friday, the IDF launched targeted airstrikes on Iranian Air Force installations in western Iran, specifically hitting the “Hamadan” and “Tabriz” bases. These operations were part of Israel’s broader military response to recent Iranian aggression.
According to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the “Tabriz” airbase was effectively taken out of commission as a result of the Israeli strike.
The IDF reported that, in addition to those airbases, its forces successfully destroyed numerous assets tied to Iran’s aerial threat infrastructure. These included facilities connected to the regime’s air defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and launchers for surface-to-surface missiles.

As part of the initial phase of Operation “Rising Lion,” Israeli Air Force fighter jets, acting on highly accurate intelligence gathered by the IDF Intelligence Directorate, carried out a strike that killed two of Iran’s top military leaders: the head of the Intelligence Directorate within the Iranian Armed Forces General Staff and the commander of the IRGC’s Surface-To-Surface Missile Array.
Since the launch of the operation, Israel has successfully eliminated more than 20 key figures within Iran’s security and military leadership.

President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform tonight to share his opinion that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran “should end.”
In his post, Trump wrote, “President Putin called this morning to very nicely wish me a Happy Birthday, but to more importantly, talk about Iran, a country he knows very well. We talked at length. Much less time was spent talking about Russia/Ukraine, but that will be for next week. He is doing the planned prisoner swaps – large numbers of prisoners are being exchanged, immediately, from both sides. The call lasted approximately 1 hour. He feels, as do I, this war in Israel-Iran should end, to which I explained, his war should also end.”

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, an Israeli official revealed that Israel’s current military campaign against Iran is not limited to strategic sites but may extend to the highest levels of Iranian leadership. The official stated that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is “not off limits” as part of Israel’s escalating air offensive aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
