The U.S. needs more immigrants to fill the gap left by a declining birth rate, former President Bill Clinton said during a press event.
“America is not having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work,” Clinton remarked at a fish fry in Fort Valley, Georgia.
He reiterated this point at another event on October 14, saying, “We got the lowest birth rate we’ve had in well over 100 years. We’re not at replacement level, which means we got to have somebody come here if we want to keep growing the economy.”

Vice President Kamala Harris was roasted for a word salad during a service in North Carolina where she attempted to speak about having faith “in times of crisis,” Breitbart reports.
While speaking at in Greenville on Sunday, Harris spoke about faith and how going through “times of crisis” can sometimes lead Christians to “question” their faith. Harris pointed to the devastation left by Hurricane Helene on communities in western North Carolina, southwestern Virginia, Georgia, and eastern Tennessee.

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris made an unscripted remark, stating “rather articulately” that the upcoming 2024 election is “packed with some stuff.”
This latest statement is drawing criticism for its perceived lack of clarity and presidential tone.
“When we think about what’s at stake in this election – well it’s packed with some stuff! Some fundamental stuff! I say rather articulately,” she commented during a campaign stop in Scottsdale, Arizona.
