On Wednesday, Israel’s embassy in Mexico strongly denounced the violent act of destroying a wax figure of Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu by a pro-Palestinian protester at a museum in Mexico City.
The incident was captured on video and shared by a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel account on X on Tuesday. The post was accompanied by the message: “This is for Gaza.”
The video depicts the activist placing a Palestinian flag at the base of the statue, spraying it with red paint, striking it with a hammer, and then knocking it over.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is blaming the raging California wildfires on climate change, Breitbart reports.
“80,000 people told to evacuate. Blazes 0% contained. Eight months since the area has seen rain. The scale of damage and loss is unimaginable,” the senator began before blaming the devastation not on poor fire management but on climate change.
“Climate change is real, not ‘a hoax,’” he said, demanding President-elect Donald Trump to “treat this like the existential crisis it is.”

Homeowners struggled to save their properties along with firefighters, who found that water pressure was running low in many places. Officials said the city’s hydrant system was not designed to fight wildfires on the scale seen in Los Angeles. NBC News’ Gadi Schwartz reports. Authorities in Los Angeles said at least five people have died and more than 1,000 homes and other structures have been destroyed by devastating wildfires that swept through several Los Angeles neighborhoods.
