As YWN reported around 8 weeks ago, Neiman was brutally stabbed during the horrific Chanukah Monsey attack at Rabbi Rottenberg’s Shul. He was rushed to the hospital where he lay in a coma after suffering a skull fracture from the machete which went through his brain. The right side of his body was left fully paralyzed from the brain injury he sustained.

The liberal democrats running New York State now have innocent blood on their hands, thanks to their insane bail reform laws. According to a report by LoHud, 25-year-old Blanchard Glaudin had been released free on a previous rape charge when he murdered 53-year-old Sandra Wilson inside the Finkelstein Library in Monsey earlier this week. Glaudin had been released under the new bail reforms after being accused of trying to rape a woman at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in November. Nyack Justice Robert Knoebel had set Glaudin’s bail at $100,000 and he was held as Gaudin Blanchard in the county jail from Dec. 20 until Dec. 26, until a County Court judge released him without bail under the criminal justice reforms.

The man who helped catch the suspected Monsey attacker back was recognized Thursday night at an event in Williamsburg, not just for his heroic actions that day, but also for refusing to accept money from “Zionists”. Josef Gluck was supposed to receive a $20,000 reward from the Jewish Federation of Rockland County and the Anti-Defamation League. However, Gluck told News12 that “after consulting with his rabbi, he decided to reject that money because he says it comes from Zionist organizations that don’t represent the beliefs and values of their community.” “I was not willing to offer my soul for $20,000”, Gluck told News12. Instead, $20,000 was raised from community members and presented to Gluck at a ceremony in Williamsburg on Thursday night.

A Jewish female was robbed at the LifePlex Health Club (gym) on College Rd in Monsey at around 8:30PM, Wednesday night. The suspect fled in a vehicle, but crashed just nearby in front of “Wine on 59” on Route 59. The suspect then bailed from the vehicle, and fled on foot. Ramapo PD and Rockland Chaverim responded and conducted a search for the suspect. Authorities apprehended a possible suspect in front of the 7/11, but as of this YWN post, it has not been confirmed to be the suspect. The victim is being brought to the Ramapo Police Headquarters to make a positive identification. Rockland Hatzolah is treating one victim from the crash for minor injuries. The number of residents seeking to own handguns has risen sharply in a New York community shaken last month by a machete attack that injured five men during a Hanukkah celebration. The Journal News reports 73 pistol permit applications have been filed with the Rockland County Clerk’s Office since the Dec. 28 attack at a rabbi’s home in Monsey, a hamlet in the town of Ramapo northwest of New York City. That compares to 51 applications the office received during the eight weeks prior to the stabbing, County Clerk Paul Piperato told the newspaper. Sixty-eight of the new applications came from Ramapo residents, including 31 from Monsey. “It’s definitely because of this incident,” Piperato told the newspaper, referring to the attack.
