On August 14-15, nearly 600 cyclists will ride 180 miles across three states as part of Bike4Chai. Now in its tenth year, the annual cycling event raises funds for Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network which provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses and their
families.

It happened just after 2:00AM on the NY State Thruway, when the young man was travelling with his wife and children from Montreal to New York.

A Yeshiva Bochur injured while hiking at Ice Caves Mountain needed to be rescued, Wednesday night.
A group of 15 bachurim were on the hike, when one of the sustained a leg injury, and was unable to continue.

A one-vehicle accident in Woodbourne sent two people to the hospital, Thursday morning.
It happened at around 7:00AM on Route 52 near Michigan Road – by the Woodbourne Firehouse – when a vehicle flipped off the embankment.

On July 23, 2019 at approximately 2:37PM, state police responded to a medical emergency at the Kiryas Joel Union Free School at 7 Israel Zupnick Drive in the village of Kiryas Joel.

Tragedy struck Kiryas Joel on Tuesday afternoon, after a child was killed in a horrible incident.
It happened on Tuesday afternoon at around 3:00PM at the Bais Rochel School on Israel Zupnik Drive, when a closet reportedly fell on top of a 7-year-old child (female).

As a follow-up to the help that Chaveirim of Rockland County offered to YAGILU last week, when one of their campers went missing while on a hiking trip, Chaveirim of Rockland County came to Camp Yagilu Wilderness for some wilderness training.

Two minivans collided on Route 52 in the Catskills, Monday morning, sending 5 people to the hospital.
It happened at around 11:50AM, on Route 52 near Synagogue Road (between Woodbourne and Ellenville), when one of the vehicles pulled out of a driveway, and got hit by an oncoming vehicle.
